When you find that, I will bow to you.

Right now there is the large scale Losi, the MMM, the Quark Monster Pro and a few other very expensive units. All have failed, but I believe the Quark is one of the most reliable units. I would personally run very far away from an MMM in fear of getting freshly exploded LiPo juice on me but there is some success with this ESC(you know, you own them). From my limited, albeit instensive experience I actually had more success running dual VXL systems than anyone in my local area running singles. It was a very reliable system for me. On 3s it will run 50+ and stay cool. And it just sounds cool. The motor is going to depend on the battery you plan on using. Unfortunately the Maxx trucks don't give you a ton of options on LiPo packs due to the funky offset motor plate. I believe somewhere around 3s 6Ah is about the biggest pack you can get under the lower side of the motor plate. What battery power are you looking for? Many people have been running the MM/7,8,9XL on 4s LiPo and it has proven very reliable at the expense of some speed. Look at about 40mph on a properly set-up MM/8XL on 4s. Plenty fast for an E-Maxx and enough torque to launch into a backflip. Honestly the 3905 doesn't need many driveline upgrades to make it near bullitproof. I would add aluminum diff cups because I shread mine quite often, but some people don't have that problem. If you will spare the MMMM you have and go for the Neu motor of your choice then you will have about the best set-up you can get, barring the MMM stays in one piece. You are going to want to upgrade the shocks right away if you are planning on racing or doing any serious bashing. The weak little shock shafts bend under light pressure and the plastic caps tend to blow after huge jumps.

The answer is no. And yes, mine is faster.
