Whoah horsey. I cut 6065 and 7075 all the time on our 4400 watt bystronic laser and our 2600 watt trumpf laser. There was never an issue with speed and tolerances could be held to virtually that of a mill. Your laser operator has to know how to set it up correctly to get a clean cut but it is much more efficient and expidious than other methods. The power supply nor the tube took up anywhere near 50 x 50 and we could cut 1" thick carbon steel them. The unit holding the resonator and other equipment was about 15' long, 8' high, and 3' wide.
