The 5700 cc motor is a short can size, or about 50mm long, and it is a 2 pole design motor. The neu 1515 1y is longer, and has a 4 pole design, both of those features allow it to make more torque. It does have lower kv rating, but most run it on 4-5lipo. A 5700 motor is only good for 2-3s lipo and does not have enough torue to move a heavier vehicle, that is why it is strictly for 10th scale.
A higher kv just means that it will spin faster with the same voltage. The kv rating does not refer to the power output, toque output or motor size.
There are various places to get motor info, but asking here will be your best bet as most of us have tried a variety of combos and can steer you in the right direction.
