you need to run it as electric. don't do it like nitro so no battery changes. 15min Mains should not be a problem with most people using ~5000mah lipos. and if you want to have more run time in a final then have 2 final runs with both counting and starting possitions in the 2nd run being finish positions from the first one.

With battery changes in the middle of the race you would force people to risk with some quick battery change holder that might not secure the battery as much and who know what could happen.
