I to was thinking along the lines of using a glow plug powered by a seperate battery with some kind of switch that you could turn on and off when you need it. Your fuel source could be all kinds of things like licsol, or propane, or almost any kind of pressurized flamable gas with a servo controlled trigger system. You sure are having fun with this Shaun. Whater you come up with think safety. I would hate to see all of this hard work go up in flames due to over looking some small detail. Good luck with that TDC.
