what? you never slid it around backwards after running full speed down the straight? could also be why my diff outdrives wear pretty bad?
read the mm book, it says the heavier or the more traction a vehicle is the higer the start power should be, medium in my buggy does really good but i go ahead and put it on high incase i slide in a corner during a race i dont want it to cog and me lose a postion if its a close race or at the begining of the race....
i start with low timing, high start power (can try lower settings but i use high just to make sure), %30 punch like was already suggested is a good start, id try 40-50% brakes or you might be flipping end over end, the rest is just what ever you want it to be...
