I owned one of these for about a month last year. My friend needed a buggy and I sold it to him. While I had it, I noticed that it was a cross between a Mugen MBX-5 and an Xray XB8. Since there was little to no support locally, setups were hit or miss. The car felt better when we changed the shocks to the Kyosho units. I will say my friend beat on the thing and it hardly broke. If I were you, I'd be more worried about parts support. I remember they were in America, pulled out came back there was some bs going on over at RC Tech then I stopped caring. We had my buddies dialed in as best we could so the thread was useless.

Good luck converting it to electric as I am unsure if the Xray or Mugen diff mount would work. maybe post a picture and dimensions and maybe we can help on the board here.
