I knew a team driver for OCM, on his first madden voyage with the buggy it managed to break, no, let me correct that, it shattered a rear hub carrier. I have never seen that happen on a 1/8 scale buggy before. This was off of a 3ft jump, maybe getting about 5ft or so of air. after fixing this, he managed to break the steering portion of the front upright / pivot ball carrier and replaced those with MBX5 parts. I believe another guy with an OCM buggy also broke that same front part at a race earlier in the year too, same very cold weather.

Needless to say, it didn't give a very good impression for durability with that incident. I thought the buggy appeared to handle well, similar to an MBX5R but seemed alittle more nimble.

When he and I lined up his OCM with my MBX5 that had some type R parts on it, it looked like the brushless center assembly that held the center diff and my RCPD mount would line up just right with the OCM chassis, and the battery tray was VERY close if I recall correctly.

I would say best bet is to find someone with an MBX5 and see how it lines up to the chassis, or contact rcmonster and see about getting the mbx5 mount and testing it out.
