The 2-4 wheel debate: it won't effect the passenger, only the person pushing it, and in sand they are expecting some work. I think to cut down on weight and complexity 4 fixed wheels. The wheels need to be as large as possible for less rolling resistance, but that has to balanced with the added weight.
