The MMM is a much more versatile system- wanna go faster? just add more lipos and drop the gearing a touch, 30-60mph is easily doable, vs 35-38mph for the hvmaxx, or 45mph and a flaming death if you are inclined to try it...

I'll give ya the nod that the higher efficiency will give you some additional wiggle room. Remember, I also said the MMM/Neu was a better system, so crank down the guns a little.
I believe the "I couldnt get it over 160 no matter what I did" line about as much as I believe the guys that claim they consistently get 25+mpg at 80 mph in their 1 ton diesel pickups on another forum I'm on.
I'd almost put money on it that Castle is now fixing some amount of "bad" esc's that they probably feel were actually caused due to overheating that could have been avoided. Read between the lines on the thread they posted yesterday. Every other line was about heat. I think they are more than a little concerned about it. I still believe this combo is a better buy than the HV, but I do have to say my piece when the HV slappers come out!
