Same thing happened to me once with a defective R1 Pro. They missed an important ship date and I missed a competition. There is definitely a gap somewhere between customer service and shipping. Hopefully they will correct it.
Tekin came through and upgraded my ESC to an RS Pro for free and I was more than pleased about that :). Just talk to them and I'm sure they'll do their best so you are satisfied.
