Although they may look good connectors go bad from the slight arc of connecting and disconnecting.

I had the same problem, new connectors solved it.

I may have to switch everything I have over to Traxxas or Losi EC5 connectors. Those don't spark very much if at all when you plug them in right? My Deans give off a fireworks show when I plug them in.....

If you left some wire attached where the switch used to be, I would see if those wires are good all the way to the board. Maybe there is a loose connection at the board for the switch wires.

I eliminated he on/off switch but there is still like 2 inches or so of wire left. I will have to have a look at the board and see if the connection is loose. But what makes me think it can not be a loose connection is that I can take the wheels off and rev it like that so there is almost no vibration and it will still do that.

Do you mean where I soldered the 2 wires together when I removed the on/off switch? I did this even before that so it seems like it couldn't be that, but I will have a look at it and try that.

Those Bursts do really spike the amperage.
It mainly only does this at low speeds. The first run when I had a large open area to run it and I could keep it from 2/3 throttle to full throttle it wouldn't do it, but when I would let it go below 2/3 throttle, if I let off any it would shut off, then turn on, and would keep doing that until I got it back up to speed again.
