You do realize that the glo plug requires ~1.5v right? Feed it with much higher and it won't last long.

Since the motor is small, I would say no more than a 25A ESC would work. Define small footprint. If you happen to have an unused CC Mamba micro ESC laying around, it has brushed mode.
