Another little update.
Only a small development, but I finally got around to sorting out the steering servo setup. The stock location for the servo is halfway up the chassis, which isn't any good for this conversion, so I've had to reposition it right up at the front with some T-Maxx throttle servo mounts which I've shortened:
...and some RC-Monster love lol. Had to use that sticker for something!
For the time being it's set up without a servo saver, as I just don't have one that will fit. The short blue link in the photos though is a pair of RPM ball ends (one shortened) with threaded rod, and this has some flex in. Hopefully if (sorry; WHEN) I crash, that'll give way instead of making the servo's innards into iron filings.
Not that it matters, as itll only be running a cheapo TowerPro until I can afford a decent servo.
