Nah, they did not. Strange because all the ones I have seen pics of appeared to have a white, almost ceramic, coating. I did not remove anything. I wanted to anodize but the finish is a little tough. Well, you should be glad...because the mysterious white coating is difficult to deal with (asthetically) if you have to modify/drill/alter the parts. You are well on your way my friend! I sent out the center drive tubing today so you should have it in a day or two!
