Well... For the most part, MMC's shipping is very cheap and fast. Usually my orders have been $4 shipping and I recieve it the next day.

But...MMC does primarily sell to industrial customers, so they don't care about shipping, so in the order checkout MMC doesn't list shipping. Only on the final bill you recieve. Once I had an order which they split up into 3 boxes, one a long tube as I ordered some stock plastic, and the shipping charge was over $50 on a $30 order. Needless to say I was pissed. I called them and explained the situation, and they did refund the shipping w/ appologies. They did explain that their customers are mostly bigger businesses, and they are interested in faster shipping, sometimes items get packed in their own boxes rather than packed down (to save shipping) if they are coming from diff parts of the warehouse. They only charge actual shipping, andit depends on how things come into the warehouse.

Needless to say I'm now careful what and how I order. Small parts, screws and sm tools are always cheap. Most my orders are this and all has been very very cheap. Long lengths of stock plastic, lg irregular items, I'd be careful about.
