I hope to put them on my V-twin Dewalt 970 setup for some fun in the next few weeks. I am still waiting on a few things to come in so I can complete the build. I have hardened steel pins comming to make indestructable hinge pins. I am tired of having to fight to remove bent pins from the bulkheads and arms. I am working on the wiring today trying to get it all nice and clean looking like your setup. Nice work Sikeston. I am also making up special harnesses for hooking up dual battery packs. One set of harnesses for running quad packs in paralelle, and one set for running quad packs in series. I really like having a little versatility to try out different power setups. I am finally getting to use my new Hako soldering rig, which was a great buy. Have a good one Sikeston.
Thank you Jerry.

I thought I would try something different. Most of the time, I'm not all about the bling. I'm about what works and for the longer the better.

The 10K packs are close to the same weight of a 14 cell nimh setup, but give so much more. 100amps continous, 150 amps burst is more than enough. They hardly even get warm.

It's a Medusa 36-60-1500kv. 22/40 Mod 1 gearing is high enough to choke alot of motors, but this one being lower kv, it does fine with it. No cogging at all. The oversized heat sink really takes care of things. I know it's cool out right now, but I believe this setup would do well even if it were 90 outside.

You have a really nice collection Jerry. I ran back through your threads and took a peak. Good Luck with the pins, I feel your pain on trying to fix bent ones when things go wrong.

On the Wiring harnesss, just get you some Deans connectors and some 12Ga. Noodle wire, then use your imagination. LOL Just get the good quality stuff to start with and you won't be disappointed.
