This type of theft is becoming more common...the numbers of your cards along with the security codes, expiration dates, etc could have been written down...and returned to you ON PURPOSE so that you dont cancel them.
get new ones, it wont cost you a thing...
ALSO, another thing that is going on is this...
people steal cards and go to the mall, they dont put a charge on the cards, but they use them as reference to get new ones. Almost every major clothing store asks at the register if you'd like to sign up and get
their card for future discounts or some sort of promotion...most will expedite the process if you have another card they can use for a reference. So they use your card to get a new card in your name that you dont even know about. Get in touch with some credit reporting agency and make sure there arent any new credit cards in your name that you dont know about.
