I have 3 sets of road tires, planther slicks (super light weight, high traction), ofna treaded (short, low profile), hotlaps autocross (larger dia, heavy).

I haven't tested the panther slicks for speed runs yet. I will once i get my castle 2650 combo in. They do look pretty promising however, considering the fact that they make my hv7.5 seem like it has more punch.

The ofna tread tires make the top end seem very flat because they do not balloon at all.

The hotlaps seem to have a nice feel. They do balloon, but i haven't noticed an increase in motor temps verses other tires, even with the novak hv4.5.

I'll be able to test ampdraw/rpm with my eagletree for all these tires once i get the chance.
