GREAT job! I think there are two details missing - a couple dead birds in the grill, and the creased hood - that style of Chev/GMC always had a crease across the hood right where the hinges ended. The springs in the hinge were too stiff, so over time, the hood ended up bent.

Actually the pivots on the hinges would sieze, causing the bent hoods. Another reason that I dislike the GMC product from the good old days, that and the distributor at the back of the engine, whose dumb idea was that?

Have you ever thought of painting one of the styrene/plastic tamiya bodies? With your skill and attention to detail I don't think it would be a tough transition.
