In the next couple months, I plan to finally convert my 8T to electric
. Not sure of all the plans, but got a couple ideas. Right now i'm looking into using my 1515/2.5d/f neu (1700kv)/quark combo with 5s, I know people are using the y's and castle makes only Y's, but i like the power and efficiency of this motor. I am also considering either an adapter or a custom motor plate for my 2250 lehner and a 5s setup. I know it sounds like a waste and a weak setup, But i got a similar setup in my GT conversion (1200 xl basic lehner/quark/5s) and its awsome, doesn't run hot no matter how hard i run it. This would be a larger scale experiment to see if a high-geared, huge motored, lower voltage is as good as a high v setup.
Anyways, I have no experience in setting up a truggy for electric, I plan for the conversion parts to come from rc-monster. Can someone give me a good starting setup for the shocks and diffs? thanks for any info
