I did a short run with the the Elogger in my 8ight today. It was short because the kyosho plastic spur gear began losing its teeth but here are some of the results.
Gearing: 12/46
Battery: NeuEnergy 25c 3900mAh 5s.
Timing: 0
LVC: 16.2 volts
Punch Control: 60% (helps minimize amp spikes from radio glitching)
As you can see in the graph, the motor draws about 50-60 amps under acceleration. There is an 88 amp spike after peak rpm is hit, either because it began to wheelie after reaching the peak of a hill or because the road very bumpy.
Max current recorded during the run was 119 amps.
Avg. Amp draw while I was running was about 18.5 amps.
Min Voltage was 16.21.
Going by the max rpm readings, top speed was at least 53 mph with the 4.5" dia. tires i was running. Way too fast for the area I was running in, as i rarely even used full throttle during any point in time during the run.
Temps at the end of the run (5min) were 138F motor, ~150F MMM (fan was on then turned off when was checking temps), batteries 95F.
Anyways, Enjoy!
