Not to rub anyone the wrong way but the thread is titled "The MAN'S thread to good health"! Yet it the thread has been filled up with chat from teenagers, most of which can't even drive yet! Sorry guys but what you do for healthy living is vastly different from what a man that is twice your age will be doing. You young guys metabolism is through the roof. Lets see how your doing in another 10-15 years!
I know I need to lose weigh bad!!! I really need to give up on the soda and eat better and no more late night snacks or meals. When I'm not drinking soda it's water, or soda with some captain! Running is out of the question for me, I can make it about 100' before I feel like I'm gonna die and can barely move, so I'm limited to walking.
Two years ago I quit drinking soda, water only. Walked at least a mile a day. I also eat a little better. I had some motivation for this though. At 26 I took a girl to her Junior prom. Now all the Dads out there, don't worry! She was actually my new step cousin, she didn't have a date and since I had never went to mine I offered to take her. At the same time I wanted to make sure I looked decent in a tux.
If I had a little motivation again, I know I could drop 30-40 lbs by April, and I may have that motivation after last night at the bar!
P.S. Sorry for the long rant
