At your special request, I took some pics of the mounted MMM lol. They're a bit rubbish because I had to take them inside, as it's bucketing down with snow outside. It did need a bit of lateral thinking to make space to mount it, though:
And the Nomadio Transceiver. I opted to shop the servo lead short as it's right next to the transceiver, which gets rid of a load of messy wiring:
The ESC plate is just a bit of 3mm aluminium, which I mounted on the left side of one of the inner rear hingepin brace. I'm just using slightly longer screws which go through the brace as normal, but then thread into the plate which places the ESC just above the bottom motor mount plate. Maybe not the most elegant solution, but does the job!
The only issue is that once the motor's installed, it'll be within about 2-3mm of it which isn't ideal with the radiated heat...but there's nowhere else to put it. There's also not a whole lot of gap between in and the wishbone when it's compressed, but that should be ok. I might knock up a lexan dirt guard.
I'm just *busting* for the big C to release their motors individually now!
