Went to a gun show in a nearby town today and ended up getting my Birthday presents early!
Brand new Springfield XDM-40 (.40 Smith&Wesson) with 2 magazines, magazine holder, holster, speed loader (more hassle than it's worth IMO), a safety lock, and the replaceable grip pieces to adjust to different hand sizes. Also got 1,000 rounds of .223 for my AR-15
Ended up spending almost $900 on ammunition plus $670 for the pistol and picked up a scope and some other goodies.
