Nice conversion, pretty similar thoughts to mine, laying down both betteries as low as possible.
I am running 15/48 gears under 6S 25C 5.2Ah LiPo for the winter, motor temperature is well controlled around 40~50C. when summer comes I think I may have to gear down to 12/49.
