I went to a wide open parking lot with my CC 2650 on 5s geared 14/46 in my 8ight (geared for 58 mph). It took 50 amps to maintain top speed, and temps never got above 150 during the run. I'm probably not going to to do this again any time soon because the the center of my slicks got worn down into a groove, there was so much tire balooning. I'm pretty sure you will not have to worry about temps with the the 2200 geared with a 17 tooth or less. If you want more reasonable/usable power, stick with the 1512 2.5D or else gear the 2200 down.
