Why not simply use an esc to power the ez-start from the 3rd channel on your receiver.
It looks cool and works fine - apologies if it came across as a flame... Quite a few crawlers use a switch/micro servo combo for dig setups which is what I had seen. I thought that would have been easier than an esc but from the video it is working really wel..
