Never count the "grandads" out! All the bouncers at the local bar I work at get underestimated by the younger guys. I'm 39 and the other guys are in there early 40s. The younger guys think cuz we're old they can give us crap when it's time to get bounced. Bad idea. Grandad knows what you're going to do before you do it. He has been there! It's great when some kid thinks he's going to throw a punch to impress his buddies, and some "old cat" schools him, and he ends up on his ass outside.
My back, knees, and feet may be killing me but you forget all that when you need to. Sunday mornings I feel like a train hit me though. Ough ya, there are the ladies, they all love the old bouncers. Must be the shirt. Membership has its privliges!!
