If you get the MMM combo and gear it real low, around 25MPH (stock speed), you should be able to get away with your nickel packs for now. Runtimes will be a bit better as it's more efficient. As soon as you can I'd get some lipo packs, and if your current charger isn't lipo capable you'll need a new charger as well.
