For anyone interested in doing one of these conversions, forget about doing them to Mugen's or Serpents. What you want to get is a Shepperd racing VeloX
(click here) If you look closely they have done away with the disc brake on the transmission shaft and incorporated the brake into the rear axle/diff. What this all means is there is a huge amount of room to fit your motor and still keep the mechanical brakes.
