Thats what I had heard as well, but looking closely at the leads on the Castle motor they appear to just be the same 10g wire they use on the ESC, not like a genuine NEU that are the actual windings exiting the can. I guess thats why I just assumed I could trim them but I wanted a few extra opinions seeing how my assumptions have gotten me into trouble with electronics in the past.

I cant believe I missed that piece of the spec page on the Castle site about the leads. DUR! Im also just noticing that the motor leads on the E-Revo BL are much shorter than the out of the box MMM length.

I thought about just leaving them full length but Im not found of big bunches of extra wire on my motor setups. It looks so much cleaner all cut to length.. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't killing my new motor by doing so.

So that solves that.. time to go shorten these bad boys.

Thanks guys.
