[QUOTE=Finnster;268929]Trying to find an RC that won't break is like trying to find a GF that won't age. Better off just running 'em hard and enjoying them, and replace any parts that break. Be careful of part "upgrades" as they expensive quick. Couple hop-ups are ok, but the last thing you want to build is a shelf queen that's expensive and doesn't want to be touched w/o more money. You're best off getting one well built out of the box rather than trying to make something its not and never will be. Just trade 'em off every few years when the parts get worn out and sloppy. Somebody is always cheap or broke enough to pick 'em up.
Great write up. I love the comparison analogy. It's amazing how our GF or significant other require teh same treatment in order to do what we want them to do. I know my wife will get a kick out of that one.
I have heard that the TRX Summit holds up pretty well under unskilled driving like you described. Or maybe your just not hitting the operator hard enough to get it under the desired control. Who is in command at your place?
