There's a pic somewhere in these Savage forums of a sheared universal... I haven't broken one of the Savage CVDs (made by HPI) from too much torque. It only broke because of a hard crash.

Personally I would recommend the HPI CVDs, but my Savage has a center diff which takes a lot of stress off the drivetrain. Thus I have no idea how well they would hold up to the Flux.
