I cant even look at that traxxas thread, I could feel my IQ slipping with every post I read...
The principle is fine though- assuming the longer chassis doesnt add more than about a 1/4- 1/2 lb in weight, then the same electronics and what-not will work just fine in a stretched version of any given vehicle, just gotta tune it to suit the different balance and handling etc.
