With all due respect to the awesome power of electric now, it'll just never be as cool as nitro. Crowds don't draw around electric RC. They want to see the gas burning machines.
I look at electric RC like I look at grilling. Having a gas grill is OK as long as you have charcoal first. With RC, electric is OK as long as you have nitro first. :)
I have been eyeballing those Flux', but after you buy a couple of 3s batteries, you could have gotten a Baja 5B.

We all have our opinions and here on rcm its brushless or nothing.... Brushless has a greater power to weight ratio and has monsterous torque. Id take that over a fuel burning, noisy, smelly running truck that leaves nitro all over your nice truck. Brushless is just the way to go. Nitro is being faded out.
