Sweet. I will be paying close attention. I also have a Savage X (4.1) that I'd like to eventually do a conversion on. Looking at also running the KB45 from OSE, mounts unsure, and I also would like to see how the batteries are mounted on your setup. BTW nice find on that used KB45. I'd love to learn how to cut down the shaft to 5mm....
