car ran better than ever before(steering mod really works!!) temps were only higher on the motor, about 180. thinking it was all the mud? was also geared under a little and ran a ten minute main. that seems to be the most logical explanation to me. using a new batt tray (novak) with the bottom cut out of it. mmm still going strong, was acting funny at first but recalibrated it to the radio and all was good again.
