I like a mix, on the muggy I have one of mike's motor mounts, but made my own battery, esc mount and battery tray mounts... If I had to buy everything pre-fab I would not be able to afford to have all of this stuff!!!
I do agree that putting a bl system in an emaxx or erevo does not count as a conversion. All that was done was to bolt in stuff. But if it makes the less initiated feel more like me I can't really give them a hard time, everyone strives for perfection, and few can get to my levels... (please note how modest I am)

My stuff, when made by hand, is because I like to design my own parts and it would be far too expensive to outsource the work when I can do it myself! And even for you, you're doing stuff that is unique to you. Now, just wait for my next project thread to show up...

Brushless retrofit would be more fitting for those who want to give a name to removing brushed motors and replacing them with brushless IMO. Conversion implies switching from two quite different things (think of religion -
