If you need any tips for mods for the vehicle let me know. Ran these for awhile when the very first SB came into the country. A few mods off the top of my head that should work
- Associated B3 lunsford turnbuckles will complete the whole car
- AE shock springs can be used if you use lower AE style cups
- You can use a battery post to stiffen the chassis between the two decks
- If not included, the academy pistons teflon #3 and 4 work quite well to give a plush setup
- The chassis can take up to a 72T spur gear, maybe a 74. this will give you more gearing options.
- You can run a b4 diff spring instead of the stock unit and get better diff action
- don't use the kit tire foam, use losi buggy rear foam for the front and rear tires or better / harder foams
- don't use the included silicone grease. go with AE or equivalent quality grease
I would personally look and see if you can find a Kose motor mount for the car. The cam style mount was a real pain for gearing purposes. If you are at all handy, its not hard to machine one.
