The one I had replaced was something I picked up from a guy at the track, it was a Losi but one for the 1.0 truggy. I don't think it's failure is indicative of anything wrong with the design, I do think I'll pick up some 2.0 ends and likely never have the issue again. But I would also consider others if there seems to be a recurring problem.
