I witnessed NS's buggy today, it does great on 3s lipo. Motor and esc temps were good, and overall power delivery was very raceable. Plenty of power, but not over the top. I was surprised by the performance, the MMM and 2650 motor seem to do a great job with 3s and the efficiency is quite high.
I second the idea to try your current setup with a decent 3s lipo, bugman.
