yes im sure the Aluminum Mount does act as a heat-sink, but the E-revo already has a designated motor heat sink. This combined with the fact that my motor runs pretty cool on the voltages it receives makes me think it should be fine. Heck, if i notice that the motor temp jumps by 30 degrees then ill put the aluminum one back on, but i dont think that tat will be the case.
