OK, I will do my best to answer your questions.
First off the hv110 is about the smallest esc you can go with to have 6-10s usability. It is underrated quite a bit. You will require a pistix, I think offshoreelectrics.com has them. Any air esc will require a pistix...
I will have to guess that the xray truggy with the huddy steel parts will offer the best drivetrain for longevity. I have not owned one, but they are said by many to be the best.
As far as tekno to rcm goes, I have to say that I prefer the rcm parts for many reasons.
All of the tekno stuff uses their clutch adapter, which is not really a good idea. It will require more maintenance, and setup to operate properly. Plus it will wear front motor bearings faster. And I an not that fond of the motor mount design of the tekno.
Going with std hardened pinons and the slipperential from rcm will be your best bet. I also like the rcm motor mounts, simple and they allow chassis flex without disturbing the gear mesh. I think most of the rcm designs are superior to what else is out there... I have used other stuff and feel more confident with the rcm parts, plus they tend to fit better than most everything else I have played with.
