i did initially look into that but in my current situation i will need to have the motor moved forward in order to use a normal 5mm mod1 pinion.this means buying another different motor mount. i am also somewhat reserved about using the long shank pinions on the current setup as i am weary of loading up the front motor bearing. i will relent perhaps somewhere down the track, but until then, i am not giving up so easily.
