I really do not see the issue with making trucks go fast. Forward weight distribution, low stance, very limited suspension (no droop) and a front wing should do the trick.

Something like the erevo body to make it more aerodynamic. At those speeds tire setup will be more critical than anything else.

Setting alot of neg expo on the radio will help with startup issues, and being careful with the throttle during the run as well.

Not saying that this would be anything other than a straight line vehicle and most likely good for a handful of passes at a time.
