Oops, I just saw I included the wrong link in my topic
I've edited it now, here's the correct link:

In this topic the admins state the following:

As some of you may have noticed our new Turnigy batteries come in a 15-20C variety, but, are selling at the 20-30C price.

We have not made it immediately obvious, however these labels are in fact incorrect and will be updated in the following shipments from the factory. The label should ready 20-30C!

How did this happen?
The cell manufacturer does not make a 15C formular. Though the hobbyking.com purchasing department requested it anyway. Not having a 15C formular the factory simply produced the 20-30C cell and labeled them 15-20C.

They are just normal Lipoly cells.
They deliver the said C rate plus more, and are true to their capacity.

They don't have extra added 'wow', they dont have 500x cycle life and cant be charged at silly C rates. They are normal batteries at a good price.

Enjoy.

We wanted to duplicate the entire Flightmax range. Which includes 15C. Then later we were going to drop 15C as 25C and 30C became more affordable.

The labels are wrong, they should read 20-30C.
We did not want to try explaining the issue with each product listing because, we thought it would create too many questions. Customers would gossip, email us, ask questions and generally not believe it.
We think it's better to just wait until the current stock sells out then update the listing once the new stock arrives with the correct sticker.

We also did not want to have the label and SKU contradicting each other as this causes confusion in the warehouse as well as may raise complaints when customers receive stock.

I hope that helps clear things up.

Rhino is really awesome stuff. I love those packs! And the good news is, the factory finally came to the party on price. So you will see prices on Rhino dropping soon.

Flightmax will be discontinued soon and replaced with Turnigy. This is purely a cost and factory location based decision.
I feel the Turnigy packs are a little more reliable than the Flightmax. However, only time will tell as the customers are the true judge and jury of products in HobbyKing land.

The Turnigy branded products are HK products made to HK specs. That probably explains the cheaper price. When HK sells another brand they have to pay the premium for that products brand name.
