I'm sure the adrenaline kept him from feeling anything. It's better off that way. Trust me.
The worst thing that's happened to me is a dislocated shoulder- then again 6 months later- AND again about 8 months after that. Same shoulder each time.
Oh- running a close second is that time I dropped a weed wacker on my big toe, engine side first. Lost my toe nail a week later. It grew back though.
