I looked on internet, but those servo's costs 40 dollar each!

Aren't there cheaper servos? (without doing to much modifications)
Did you already tried to do the little gears (so the 4 ones in the diff, I forgot the name) in hot water for 10 minutes? I heard that the diffs will be much harder to destroy if you do that...
