yea, you gotta make sure your cleaning the inside of the tire with some sorta soap. i use denat. alcohol. then wipe dry with lint free towel. i found that gorilla duct tape is the best. ive tried the 3m strapping tape with string fiber but the gorilla duct tape last longer. but i think its heavier though.
and instead of wrapping tape twice...once is good enough. but make sure you overlap the end with 1 inch of tape.
make sure you have the tape spot on in the middle and press down on the tape every few inches while your taping around the tire.
